The Lubuskie Lake District of Western Poland is located halfway between Poznan and Berlin. The forests contain an abundance of wild mushrooms, wild berries and wild strawberries. There are wild boar, deer and even Bison. The lakes themselves teem with fresh water fish including prize-winning carp and giant catfish. You can hire fishing equipment, canoes, rowing boats, and bicycles or simply sunbathe on a lakeside beach.
